Note on work requiring a licence
In Switzerland, electrical installation work may only be carried out by businesses holding an installation licence from ESTI (NIV ordinance). We only involve appropriately licensed businesses.
Work on gas, heating and drinking water installations belongs in the hands of approved specialist businesses (e.g. in line with SVGW rules and cantonal regulations).
If people or the building are in danger, call 118 (fire brigade) or 112 immediately. Renovatio is not an emergency service.

Questions & answers
What does a request cost me?
Submitting a request and using the platform is free of charge for customers and non-binding. You decide whether to accept a quote. Partner compensation is set out in a separate partner agreement.
Does Renovatio carry out the work itself?
No. Renovatio is a matching platform. The work is carried out by independent businesses with whom you conclude the contract directly.
How quickly will I hear back?
We review every request as quickly as possible, usually within one working day. In an emergency, please also contact an emergency service directly.
Which regions do you cover?
We accept requests from all over Switzerland. Matching depends on whether suitable partner businesses are available in your region.
Can I just source materials or equipment?
Yes. We also connect you with suppliers of building materials, appliances, furniture and fittings – with or without installation.
What about older buildings?
Buildings constructed before 1990 may contain hazardous substances such as asbestos. An assessment by specialists may be required before renovation work – we will point this out to you.
